NGT (National Green Tribunal) Judicial Committee

Hon’ble National Green Tribunal vide order dated 31st August, 2018 in O.A. No. 110(THC)/2012,  O.A. No. 73/2014, O.A. No. 13/2014, O.A. No.186/2014 and O.A. No. 287/2017 constituted an Independent Committee under the Chairmanship of Hon’ble Mr. Justice B.P. Katakey, Former Judge of the Gauwahati High Court with representative from Central Pollution Control Board and Indian school of Mines, Dhanbad for the purposes of restoration of the environment and rehabilitation of victims in coal mining affected areas. The Committee will take the following steps:-

1. Take stock of all actions taken so far in this regard.
2. Prepare time bound action plan to deal with the issue and ensure its implementation.
